Willem here, PaperCut product manager looking after Print Deploy. Consider also what you'll do to identify the user that is printing. When deploying a direct printer (without a print server) with Print Deploy, the Print Deploy client reports the user and print job details to the Application Server. If you are printing via a server, you can deploy traditional print server queues with Print Deploy, but I always recommend installing a Mobility Print server on your print server, and deploying Mobility Print queues with Print Deploy. Then you don't have to worry about authenticating your Macs with the print server, Print Deploy will take care of it. Because the user needs to choose the shared account upon printing on their mac, we need to use the Print Client instead of the Print Deploy Client. That's why I need to find a way to deploy the Print Client and print queues to the mac.

Head to your Papercut server / PCClient share. There's a macos applescript to deploy the print client to end user devices. Should give you a start.

Print queues, try Jamf Print Manager. Install to your local device then export to Jamf for deployment. I haven't tried, i use lpadmin still..

You can run both the Print Deploy client and PCClient simultaneously. Just keep the following checkbox unchecked in the PaperCut NG/MF admin interface. 

If you check this checkbox, PaperCut NG/MF will expect the PCClient to authenticate the print job. But since Print Deploy already takes care of authentication, that won't be needed. 

With this setup, the PCClient will only be used for the shared account selection.
