I'm reaching out to see if anyone has found a way to enforce the Do Not Disturb feature while driving. We are trying to limit employees from texting or emailing while driving. Does JAMF Pro allow for this? If not, have you heard of other apps that would reach the same results?
+1Unfortunately this is not something that can currently be managed through Jamf. I would suggest contributing an upvote here: https://ideas.jamf.com/ideas/JN-I-17065 & submitting feedback with Apple here: https://www.apple.com/feedback/ to add impact on that feature request.
+26I do not believe these level of location access or focus state is available to Apples MDM framework and in turn not available to JAMF. However, there are Apps that can do this thing and there are Apps that do this which can be managed by JAMF. Doing a quick search on enabling DND while driving for employees pulled up some App called LifeSaver, which looks to be available in JAMFs market place and was featured at JNUC 2022. Seems like a good place to start.
