I have a basis iis server built with images but cant get past that.

It's super easy, I've been using IIS for JAMF for a long time.
+3Thanks Aziz I will try that again but I think the setup is different when it is specifically for Apple Education User Images.
Further information on my current config. I have been getting the error "Trust must be established between the JSS and the web server. Use the documentation provided by your web server to enable client authentication".
+14I'm guessing that means you need an SSL certificate for your distribution point. Disable HTTP in IIS (or redirect HTTP to HTTPS) and only use HTTPS with a valid public SSL (or internal PKI).
+1@mueller_helpdesk did you ever find success in setting up user images on IIS? I am having the same issue. I know nothing about certificate authentication.
