Anyone using examview Test Generator 8.1 with 10.10? Figure out a way to get it to print? It seems it only will print single blank sheets. The company states that 8.1 doesnt support 10.10, and that we need to subscribe to their new version to get 10.10 support. I'd rather figure out a work around.

Any ideas? I think its a Java problem personally.

I had the same problem. I could not print my tests. I downloaded the latest version (11.3.0.1) and it still did not print. I think it has something to do with the font. Here is what worked for me.

  1. Go to "edit"
  2. Select "replace font"
  3. Keep "Find what" selected to "all fonts".
  4. On "replace with" go to the drop down menu.
  5. I chose "helvetica"
  6. The test printed in arial even though helvetica was selected, but I got the darn thing to prrint.

I understand why you would want to not pay to get it working, but if the vendor is telling you that the version you're on doesn't support 10.10 (and by extension 10.11) wouldn't it be wise to look into getting the latest version that would support up to the current OS (or at least 10.10)?

We aren't able to use the subscription model. But here's another wrench....in my testing I just found it works fine on 10.11, solves the whole printing problem.

Annoying.

We have a mix of mostly 7.5 and some 8.1 and all on 10.10.4 and no one has complained about printing, yet.

Go to edit and replace all fonts with helvetica.
