Exclude iPad from an app scope

Is there anyway to exclude an iPad that's been scoped via group to an app? I want the group to still receive the app, except for certain iPad(s), but they still need to remain in that group to receive other configs and/or apps.

This can easily be done in Jamf Pro, but I'm not seeing anyway to do this in Jamf School. Am I missing something? Or is it just not possible?

    You'd have to set up a new smart group who's membership is set to 'member of [original group]' AND 'not member of [new group of devices to exclude]' then scope the app to the new group rather than the original group.
