Hi,

due to some unlucky timing with vacation I am now in the situation that I renewed my Jamf built in CA only a week before it expired. Due to this I will have a lot of computers and devices with expiring MDM Profiles. I am trying to renew as many as possible, but is there any way of renewing the profiles of the macs after the profile expires? Would it help to reenroll the macs via the terminal?

Kind regards

Why not send a mass "Renew MDM Profile" command? Letting them expire will not end well, as that would require re-enrollment.

I have already been doing that for 3 days. And yes, it works. But I have over 800 devices and many of them are switched off and not easily accesible so I need a contingency plan for all those Macs that fall through the roster.

Follow this guide to remove a 'broken MDM' - https://graffino.com/til/UmkCdmEx7v-remove-a-non-removable-mdm-profile-from-macos-without-a-complete-wipe.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, I will try next week when the first devices with a broken connection come in.
