Extension Attributes

Using Jamf Pro. We have an extension attribute for App-Packs for grade levels (K-2, 3-5, 6-8). Is there an easy way to change this in bulk? I typically use MUT, but v6 doesn’t have Ext. Att as an option and Classic wont be compatible with MacOS for much longer.

I even tried using the MUT on Jamf Extender but that didn’t work.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi @avargas. You CAN still add to extension attributes with MUT with version 6.  You just have to add the column for the EA yourself.  Instructions are here: https://github.com/jamf/mut/blob/main/README.md#updating-extension-attributes.

Essentially, just go to the EA you need to fill in Jamf and look at the URL to see what # it is and add a column to your MUT csv template with EA_1 (if your EA# was #1) as the header and then fill the form out as you normally would.  MUT then knows what EA to add that data to.

Hope that helps!
