Hi,

I'd like to pre-populate the 'Favorite Servers' list found when doing - Finder > Go > Connect to server... with a few of our regularly accessed servers for each new user that logs on to a machine. I found a thread on here from back in 2008 about doing this, but I guess things have changed since then as I can't make it work for me. What's the best way of going about this?

Many thanks!

looks like that's stored in com.apple.sidebarlists under the favoriteservers key, so you can manage that with mcx.

I am trying to do the same. I want to pre populate the list of favorite servers for the users. I have tried creating a MCX for the com.apple.sidebarlists but it does not seem to work.

Could you provide anymore info on getting this to work.
