We've just started to use FV2 to encrypt here. At the moment we're deploying/enabling using a policy. Is there a way of doing this as part of imaging process at all? Am i missing a tick box somewhere? Or do i need to enable it on base image?

+18AFAIK, the GUI method is intended to run via a policy. During imaging, it could be possible with a script using fdesetup (have a look at derflouder.wordpress.com for some good info on this). Personally, as you need the user to be able to unlock the disk, a policy would be my preferred route.
