FileVault 2 Status

I'm seeing a number of Macs reporting that FileVault 2 is not enabled, despite the encryption state being displayed as Encrypted.

I've also seen this sometimes change to show Enabled before reverting back to Not Enabled again.

Is this a known issue? The machines appear to be completely fine and encryption seems to be on.

Do we know if there is a PI for this one?

We see the same reported issue in 11.18.0-t1750091520803, there is one related PI in JAMF.

PI122407 (Third-Party Issue) In Jamf Pro 11.11, FileVault status reporting for computers running macOS 14 or later fails to update in real-time, resulting in conflicting FileVault encryption status indicators between "FileVault 2 Enabled" and "FileVault 2 Partition Encryption State."
