Just wondering if there is a way to disable 'Find My iPhone' feature on ios devices using profiles or plist?

I have seen a lot issues about cannot reactivate ios device after redeployment because find my iphone was not turned off by previous user - we wanted to avoid this.

You can't do this with plist files. Those are Mac only.

The only way I know you'd be able to prevent this is to get your iOS devices supervised via Apple Configurator or over the air using Apple's new [Device Enrollment Program]("https://www.apple.com/education/it/dep/"). See this for more information:

You can create a smart group in the JSS to list your devices where this is enabled. That would at least be a place to start.
