I used the force app update option to update a specific app. It worked for a few but not on all of them when I checked this morning. On most that didn’t get the update there is nothing in the completed, pending or failed commands about the app update. One one there is a message on the apps tab of the inventory that says “UpdateRejected” Any suggestions on why the force update didn’t go through?

+26I find managing macOS App Store App updates to be lacking at best. Your best solution is to remove the app and reinstall it. This will cause the most recent version to install.
Either:
- Unscope the application, let it uninstall which make take a few hours or days. Then rescope the application for it to reinstall.
- Use a script to delete the application, and have the AppStore policy force the applications install so when Apple realizes the App is missing it triggers a reinstall
