help me understand how jamf pro works if the device is not on prem

Hi I am failry new to Jamf. we have devices that are not checked it (mostly its because the users got it at home)
do we need to go to Jamf in cloud to be able to manage these Macs?

@teddy0 Sounds like you're running  JSS on-prem but don't have JSS and DP nodes in your DMZ. You could add those, or you could go Jamf Cloud. The latter would be highly recommended unless you have a hard requirement for running your management systems on-prem.

If on-prem instance, do your users have the option of VPN services? Are they using it?
