I am setting up 20ish iPads for 3 classrooms of students using Jamf Pro

I have the settings in the profile set to make the iPads have a 1 page home screen that only shows the apps I am choosing to be there. When deployed the iPads are showing 2 pages with the most of the student apps on the first page and all of the Apple default ones (pages, facetime, camera etc) with a mixture of the remaining student apps.

I found another post of someone having this issue but the resolutions I’ve found seem to only be in Jamf School.

@ryoung29 When you create a home screen layout profile, any apps you don’t define in the profile will default to a second screen. What I’ve done is create a folder(s) on the second screen called Apple Apps and then I put the Apple apps into the folder. This can all be done through the profile. I usually dump the non Apple apps that get installed on the iPad but won’t be used by students in the second folder.
