How to bulk lost mode a smart group of ipads in Jamf Pro?

I have a smart group but lost mode is not one of the available remote commands?

Suggestions?

@amac3000 As far as I know you can’t enable lost mode on a group of iPads. It has to be enabled separately for each device you want to put into lost mode.

We have a lot of older devices (can’t support ios16) that we’d like to have turned but no way of knowing who has the device. About 50 devices with activity over the last 30 days and 300+ with activity over the last 90 days. Lost mode seemed like the easiest way to lock the device and provide instructions on the next step. 

I could have sworn the option was there a few weeks ago when I was beta testing the process.

@amac3000 I understand. At the end of each school year we have several unreturned iPads that I need to put into Lost Mode. The same message for the lock screen applies to all of these devices, being able to send the command to a 100 iPads at once would be great. Would the Lock iPad with a message option work in your case as a start?

As I understand it the lock command can easily dismissed without having a pin code.  Unless that can be setup as well.
