I have started testing deploying STAAR and TestNav testing for the upcoming school year. Both of the downloads for these are DMG files. When deploying nothing ever shows up on the machines that it is scoped to even though when running sudo jamf policy it does show they installed. I did find this article about having to use pkg files instead of dmg in JAMF Now, https://support.jamfnow.com/s/article/360015973211-Tutorial-Deploying-macOS-packages Does anyone know if this applies to JAMF Pro also?

Here's what the Policy for TestNav looks like. We're JAMF Pro hosted on site.

Ours looks like that as well but it doesn't install on the targeted device.

On your first panel it cuts off the image, are you targetting /Applications? If you leave it blank it installs to Harddrive and won't show up in Applications.

That did it. Is it possible to path it to Applications as well as all user's desktops?

I put testing apps right into the dock. There's a few different ways to do it. Check out this thread:

Dock Items

Personally, I use the JAMF built in Dock Items option in Settings and push it out with a config profile, but some prefer the Dock Utility (link needed).
