Hopefully this is a quick and easy fix. Ive currently got a policy running from Self Service that installs the latest Google Chrome application and have a similar policy that installs the latest edition of Firefox. Both of these are on the featured page of our Self Service distribution panel.

The issue i have been seeing on various machines is that when you install the Google Chrome policy and it completes, the Firefox install on the featured page of Self Service seems to disappear. It cant be searched for using the filter and the only way to get it back is to either refresh SS or restart it completely.

Anyone have an idea as to why this might be happening?

Thanks.

I haven't seen this before but a couple of things to check...

- Are the policy IDs for both of these policies different?
- Have you by any chance cloned one policy from the other?

I would delete the most recent one of the two and re-do it manually...

Not too technical an answer...but hopefuly it will help...

It was entirely possible that i had cloned one policy from the other so i deleted one and recreated it from scratch. Problem seems to have gone away now, thanks!

But it never used to do this.
