We are in the process of updating all our Macs to OS X 10.10 which involves moving them over to a new JSS server. I have everything working however noticed on a few devices that have moved to the new JSS (v9.6) inventory is failing. I have narrowed it down to trying to search the /Users/ folder for Applications. I have checked folder permissions and everything is fine.

The weird thing is this only has happened on 3 devices so far out of 20... Has anyone else experienced this???

What version of the JSS? I believe there is/was a defect that would cause Macs running 10.10 to fail to complete inventory collection if certain folders were added to the inventory path. Read through this thread: https://jamfnation.jamfsoftware.com/discussion.html?id=12205
I can't confirm, but I believe v9.62 addressed this defect.

Thanks Mike @mm2270 you came to the rescue again... I was planning on updating the JSS next week however I will make that happen sooner now so I can see if that truly does fix it.

I need to do a better job at searching...
