We upgraded some of our iPads to ios 7 and are unable to disable iMessage and Game Center. We do not use Apple Configurator as we are a Windows school. The iMessage option IS disabled in the restrictions for this profile group but still shows up on the individual iPads. We deleted the profiles on the iPad and it still came back.

Devices have to be supervised to disable iMessage and Game Center. At this time the only way to supervise a device is with Configurator. Once OTA supervision is allowed then you will be able to do it.

Yeah either wait for OTA supervision which is supposed to be on the horizon or Supervise the ipads. There are so many nice things about having the devices supervised that its worth getting at least one mac for that purpose alone.

I also ran into the same problem on iOS 7 — even after disabling iMessage from restrictions, it keeps showing up, and Game Center still tries to log me in when I launch some games.

From what I’ve seen, certain apps are still tied into Game Center by default, so even if you sign out, it prompts again. I noticed this especially when testing a few custom builds like:

Not sure if there’s a clean way to remove it completely without affecting gameplay, but if anyone has managed to block Game Center pop-ups fully, I’d love to know the steps.

Same here, iOS 7 never really disables Game Center completely. Even if you sign out, it still pops up in some games — kind of annoying. I noticed it more when testing a few different builds.
If you’re curious, I checked one from here:
Haven’t found a perfect fix yet, but turning off notifications helped a little. Still hoping Apple adds a proper option.

I’ve noticed the same issue on my ASUS device after the latest update — FPS drops and random lag even when settings are on medium. Clearing cache helped a little, but the problem is still there.

When I was testing different builds, I checked one from here:

It showed the same performance drop, so I think it’s more of a system update problem rather than the game itself. Has anyone found a stable fix yet?

After updating my phone, I’m facing sudden frame drops during longer gaming sessions. Even with X Mode on, the performance isn’t as smooth as before. Battery drain also feels faster.

Just to be sure it wasn’t the game itself, I tested with a different build from here:

The same issues showed up, so it looks more like a system or update-related problem. Has anyone else noticed similar behavior?
