Hi there,

We have around 500 plus managed ios devices. The frequency is to update inventory is set to 1 day. However there are so many devices thats currently active doesn't update inventory to jamf. Any ideas anything im missing. Ive checked the APNS and certificate is valid. Any ideas what causing devices not updating inventory in jamf. Thanks again

What do the logs say for Update Inventory? Pending?

We've seen if there's a passcode on the devices, once the user unlocks it the pending commands will come down.

yes it kept saying its pending

Did you enter the passcode and make sure it has network connectivity? What happens after that?

yes, it has connectivity and not getting any management commands. I did speak to jamf and they mentioned to check the "topic".

Ive noticed that newly enrolled phones got a new topic and the older managed ios has differnt topic compared to new one. Is there a way of chnaging the topic on the phone rather than reenrolling the device again.
