Hi,

We have several iPhones that are listed in Apple School Manager and assigned to the Jamf School portal. However, when we attempt to enroll the devices from the iPhones, we receive an error stating: "Access blocked, does not comply with Google policy."

We are not facing this issue with iPads or Mac devices — only iPhones are affected. As far as we are aware, there are no active policies set in our Google Workspace that would block enrollment.

Do you have any idea what might be causing this issue?

Did you find a solution for this? I’ve got exactly the same issue. Trying to enrol an iPhone. iPads all work fine.

@Rilot, sadly not yet. Did you managed to resolve it?

Solve no, workaround, yes.

I changed our automated device enrolment to not require authentication to enrol a device. This got me past the issue with Google and enabled us to enrol the iPhone. I thin turned requiring authentication back on once it was enrolled.

I spoke to Google who say that they don’t consider the minimal browser that iPhone uses during enrolment to be secure enough and thus they reject it.

When I did this with Okta, we had to create a hidden app tile in Okta for Jamf Pro that was assigned to everyone. You may have to do something similar with Google.
