Is Tomcat part of the JSS install software, or a separate sw install on OSX

We are brand spanking new to Casper and our Jumpstart is in a few weeks. I'm setting up a Mac Mini OS X 10.7 server and running through the Casper Admin doc. It wasn't clear to me if I needed to install Tomcat, but since it wasn't part of Lion, I decided to install the Tomcat binaries from tomcat.org.
I installed it in /Library/Tomcat, but then I read the in the Admin Guide that JSS installs Tomcat in /Library/JSS/Tomcat. Should take out my Tomcat install?
