Finished Jamf 100 and 200 courses. Should I continue on to 300 and 400? Is it that much more valuable for a school environment? Thanks.

I found that Jamf 300 really helped me in my confidence with Jamf.  Not sure about 400 as I haven’t taken it yet.

I found the 300 to be right at my level. The 400 was actually very challenging. It’s very scripting heavy so be prepared for that. Also, practice practice practice and ask all the questions.

Yes, the 300 is valuable for any environment. It’s a great investment in yourself (and your organization) that will remain with you for life.

My answer is yes.

There’s also these to pick up, too:

• Jamf 140 Course: Covers device deployment, app management, and settings specifically for educational environments. It leads to the Jamf Certified Associate — Jamf School credential.

• Jamf 170 Course: A security-focused introduction covering Jamf Protect, Jamf Pro, and endpoint threat mitigation

There’s also the 370 for the more Jamf Protect focused areas (assuming you have Protect). In education, this will help with posturing protections to help protect your students.
