Hello All,

I can’t seem to make sense of this one.  So I was looking at Patch management and Jamf Connect.

Jamf Connect 3.7 came out recently, so I’m thinking I’ll add it to patch management.

I look at the definitions and I see 3.14 as the newest, and there isn’t even a 3.7 listed.

I am lost.

I would recommend using the App Installer for patching Connect or other Jamf Apps. It works well if you use manual setting for version control and release to your fleet as approved. With a couple of exceptions, I really only use Patch Management for reporting and smart groups.

The part that has me super confused is this version number.  Unless I am way off, 3.7 is the latest release of Jamf Connect.  Whats with the patch management version numbers going up to 3.14?

This Patch Management entry seems like it should be the one used, and I have devices with Jamf Connect 3.6.x and 3.7 installed, and this doesn’t show any devices with any version.

Jamf Connect and Jamf Connect Login are two different apps now. Jamf Connect 3.14 is within the Self Service+ app while Jamf Connect Login (the account creation portion) is version 3.7.

You can create a separate patch policy for Jamf Connect Login.
