Has anyone noticed that the latest version of Jamf Connect, version 2.45, now shows up at the very bottom of the screen as opposed to centered on the screen? Is this the norm now?

Yes this is by design for 2.45.
It is being made to look more like the Apple Login screen. The Restart and Shutdown buttons are now up in the top right hand corner.

There is a feature request it would be nice if people upvoted: https://ideas.jamf.com/ideas/ID-I-401 - 'Custom or Per-IDP login window sizing on JC Login'. This change really messed up our login window. It sure would be nice if we had any control over the window behind the IdP login.

From the above feature request.  Fingers crossed this happens 🤔 🤔

Indeed the login window web view default size was modified to account for new requirements of some identity providers supported by Jamf Connect. While the default has changed, we anticipate providing organizations with an ability to choose between a few view size options. The original web view size will be one of the options.

While it is noted in the documentation, the screenshots are still of the old window so it is very easy to miss that the buttons have moved/changed.  A proper screenshot with the notice would have been much nmore useful
