I work for a school county and all our iPads have some apps in single app mode and they are not auto-locking and the battery is draining fast.

+19I’m not positive but I heard this might need to be deployed with DDM. I haven’t had a chance to check on this yet but I noticed there are blueprints for it.
+1Blueprints feature App Lock also didn’t work. The device’s screen still turns on after it dims. The devices also don’t have required passcodes.
+10How is your configuration profile for Single App Mode configured? If Auto-Lock is checked off in the profile, that disables the device’s ability to lock the screen and would cause the battery to drain and the screen to stay on even if someone tapped the power button on the device.
