Whether you’re travelling from near or far (I’m still coming from Canada!), here’s a curated list of activities to help you plan your trip. Locals - please share your insider tips!

JNUC Highlights

  • JNUC Party: The Wednesday night bash is always a highlight of great music, food, and networking. Don’t miss it!
  • Vendor Parties: Expect free drinks, tasty bites, and epic giveaways.
  • Jamf Heroes Meetup: Details for 2026 aren’t out yet but keep an eye on Jamf Nation for updates.

Sports

Kansas City is a sports town! Here’s what might be happening during JNUC week (check official sites for updated schedules):

Attractions

Weather

  • Expect mild autumn temps during JNUC week (21–25 September) with highs around 78°F (25°C) and lows near 60°F (15°C).
  • On September 24th, the past two years were 78.8°F / 26°C & 62.6°F / 17°C in 2025 and 75.2°F / 24°C & 57.2°F / 14°C in 2023—so pack layers for cool mornings and warm afternoons.
  • Rain is possible, so bring a light jacket or umbrella.
  • Kansas City weather is pretty nice during September but can swing quickly.  Be prepared!

@PMullins1 That’s great!  I’m not local or familiar with these local things.  I tried my best but I know it’s easy to miss things.  Bring on more!

KC Joe’s and Q39 are top notch but can be a bit expensive, but there are many many great BBQ spots across the city.

You have the Power & Light district a short walk from the convention center full of bars, night clubs, and restaurants.

There is the J. Rieger & Co. distillery.

Nearby the town of Weston there is Weston Brewing Company, home of O’Malley’s Irish Pub, and American Bowman Restaurant.  Think Brits from JNUCs past.  Holliday/McCormick Distillery is also located in Weston, and the tour is awesome.

For coffee people there is The Roasterie Coffee Company.  They offer factory tours.

Idk if you can tell but I’m kind of excited to have everyone come to my hometown.
