Or create a policy or extension attribute that can lock devices based on a users computer that has not been checked in for a long time
I do not want to use the Jamf API key.
+23If this is possible, you will likely need to use the API. It's easy to build a smart group of Macs that have not checked in for a certain amount of time. There is no built-in payload in Jamf Pro that can be used to lock a Mac. This is an MDM function. Locking the Mac depends on MDM communication working. It is possible to have good MDM communication but have no check-ins or inventories from the Macs and vice versa.
