Earlier I got a blank Dock in macOS after enrollment if I waited to long during the steps of macOS setup with account creation and everything. But now I get it most of the time. The only icon showing in the Dock is Finder.

Anybody been having the same problem and/or know how to solve it for future enrollments?

We’re in Jamf Cloud and fort the moment in version 11.15.1.

Are you running Docktutil or anything else related to configuration profiles or polices? Something in macOS Onboarding category?

Yes, we're running Dockutil. If that's the problem, do you know what we can do to solve it?

If you are triggering Dock setup via Enrolment complete or enrolment-triggered policies, avoid running Dockutil there. Wait until after the user logs in. Assuming that you are latest version of Dockutil.

Okej. Looks like we're using 3.0.2 of it. Looked at the trigger as well, it's set to enrollment complete and recurring check-in. If I change it to login can I keep recurring check-in?

What is your execution frequency? I run it once per computer at login.

Once per computer, check-in and after enrollment.

Now I've changed to trigger Login and have it set to once per computer, we'll se how it goes.

I haven't done this, but I'm thinking that if we just need Dockutil to run once in our environment, we can run a script to remove the Dockutil binary. This way, we know it can't run again after that 1 time use.
