We have an iPad Air software version 12.4.6 which is managed by JAMF Pro.

We can no longer send commands to it through JAMF.  Everything is pending.

  • Wifi connected fine.
  • The capacity is full.
  • Restriction policy does not allow to delete devices from the iPad

We simply want to wipe it.   Even unmanage device command just stays in pending.

Any suggestion folks?

How long has this device been enrolled? Perhaps it's best to check that the mdm profile doesn't have an expired certificate within it. If it does then you'll need to restore it using Apple Configurator.

The storage being full may also play into things, but that's not a definite possibility.

Thanks Steve.  I've done over 200 and this one seems to be the one that can't be reached.  With Apple Configurator, I wont be able to wipe it as it needs to be unmanaged first to be able to access it.  MDM profile is active.

Did you ever figure this one out?
