We use two locations within Jamf School to separate users and devices for our Middle and Lower Schools. It's time to move our rising 6th-grade users to the Middle School location. Devices do not move locations, only users. What is the easiest way to move users from one location to another? Any tips would be helpful!

We use Infinite Campus as our data base to sync with Apple School Manager - Jamf pulls from Apple school maanger all the student info - Right now all the students are pullin to the Main District location and not out to the Elemtary schools
APple school manager shows the kids in the elemantary center - but when i look in Jamf the student is in the main school district location and it shows Staff under Apple school amanger - I also get this issue with staff - and when i try to manual or force the move to the location the need to be in so i can attach them to ipads - it gives me a Failed error message

I did not get a response. We have the same issue. ASM shows the students have been moved from our LS location, but Jamf is still showing the location as LS. When I upload, I also receive a failed error message.
+12So, I think I have your answer and it isn't a happy one. According to what I found; you can ONLY move manually entered users (either individually or uploaded CSVs). Since it looks like you have ASM/SIS synced users, it isn't possible to move users between locations.
