Hello everyone,
We are currently testing Jamf Connect and we notice on 3 test devices that my name"Murad Jafarly" keeps being created as a folder automatically upon login to the device. We are unsure as to why that is happening.
Has anyone seen this before? And if so how can I resolve it?
One of the photos should just be the admin folder > stevefoster
Second photo should just be the admin folder > mjafarly
This sounds very much like you're deploying a user preferences package (DMG) with Jamf Pro, but you've forgotten to select Fill Existing Users (FEU) and/or Fill User Template (FUT).
Hmmm alright I am not entirely sure what that means sorry.
Can you provide an example please.
Also what would be the best way to resolve the issue?
Have you deployed any packages that you built from Composer, for example? I would comb through all the packages and see if the "Murad" user directory was added. What @talkingmoose mentioned.
You would have to find that first so it doesn't keep deploying.
