Make a smart-group, with criteria "Operating system like 10.11." (note the dot after the "11"). Check the box to show it on the dashboard and should be good to go.

+15My pleasure! You can use the same criteria ("like 10.11." if you need to limit any other smart groups to 10.11 (or .10, or .12, etc.). I had to use it within the past week to limit some of the newer iLife packages to OS 10.11 and above.
