+15This is just an FYI for everyone. We have discovered the OVA for the NetSUS appliance is incompatible with ESXi 5.1 Update 1. The problem is the Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS that the OVA is based on. The guest is constantly losing network connectivity and is unusable as a result. ESXi 5.1 update 2 or newer will work.

We scrapped the NetSUS that was loaded on the ESXi 5.1 update 1 host. We tried to move it to an update 2 host but it still showed the same issues. After reloading the OVA onto and update 2 server and setting the preferences to keep that VM only on update 2 servers or newer we no longer have the problem!
