Our Device Inventory is no longer displaying Static Group Memberships. I can see the devices in the Static Group, just not in reverse on the Device Inventory. Anyone got similar problems?

Kind Regards,
Mathew

Hi @mathew_page ,

It seems you may need support from Jamf. After updating to version 11.19, I also experienced an issue where the Activation Lock code did not appear. However, when I inspected the page in the browser, the code was visible.
The issue #PI139045 has not been resolved up to this point.

Hello,

This sounds like a sync or display issue. Try re-indexing or refreshing the inventory database and check for any filters hiding the group membership info. Also, verify if a recent update affected the view.

I have not seen that particular thing, but we have had other weirdities like that.  The most serious one of late was scripts disappearing and reappearing.  That one had a PI assigned to it and is listed as corrected at this point.

We are experiencing the same issue here.

We are also on 11.19.1-t1754574720728 Jamf Pro Cloud.

Have you received any response from Jamf around this bug?

This also started happening for us about a month ago.

Cloud Hosted - Version 11.27.1-t1777388207638

Like the OP said: we can go to the static group itself and see which computers are in it, but we can no longer look at the record of an individual computer, click the Management tab, and then view which static groups that computer is a member of. This is incredibly frustrating because checking that is often a quick way to see if an issue is being caused by a computer being in a group that we didn’t consider.

I contacted Jamf support.

They are aware of it as an issue and it will be fixed in one of the upcoming releases. They don’t know which release or when, so it wasn’t super helpful.
