Got the request to distribute 4 Office templates to our 45 users (Macbooks, Golden Gate 27.0). I used the latest Jamf Composer to make PKG’s, but somehow the install consistenly fails or runs fine, but does not install them. Using a script did not fix it. Neither the use of a DMG.
Last year I did the exact same to install 26 font-files and that worked fine. Any clue what is going on?
+10Could you please check the installation log and let me know where the PKG installation stopped or if there were any errors?
+4I tried a couple of different methodes and they gave various errors:
=> External component packages (1) trustLevel=100 (trust evaluation failed: Error Domain=PKInstallErrorDomain Code=101 "Het pakket 'Ockto Office Templates 09-2026.pkg' is niet ondertekend." (=package is not signed)
=> Error Domain=PKInstallErrorDomain Code=501 "Het pakket probeert content op het systeemvolume te installeren. (package tries to install on the system volume)
=>dest=not openable] error opening dstPath=/Users/bmdegenkamp/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office: Operation not permitted
=> Install Failed: Error Domain=PKInstallErrorDomain Code=120 "Er heeft zich een onverwachte fout voorgedaan bij het verplaatsen van bestanden naar de uiteindelijke locatie.(unexpected error at moving files to final destination)
