PlayOnMac got my attention because Microsoft Defender reports that it contains Malware.

Does anyone have an experience with PlayOnMac?  I'm trying to decide whether it really is Malware or just that it has Wine or some othe Windows files inside the App

I don't have experience with that one specifically, but I have used PlayOnLinux. It's used to run Windows games (or other programs) on Linux with things like Wine. PlayOnLinux is legit. I imagine they are very similar.
