PPPC Profile to DDM Blueprint

Wondering how others are handling the transition from PPPC Profiles to DDM Blueprints.  For this example I’ll use Zoom.

 

The PPPC that’s pushed out has Accessibility: Allow and ScreenCapture: Allow standard users to allow access.


For Blueprints under App Settings, then App privacy the permission defaults are configured for Accessibility: Allow, Camera permission: Allow, Microphone permission: Allow.  There is no option for ScreenCapture in Blueprints yet.

 

So is the recommended action to push the Blueprint prior to users upgrading to MacOS 27 (right now all of our devices are on 26 and we’re just testing 27).  Then also to keep the PPPC in place for the ScreenCapture feature, and if it’s being kept in place are you stripping out the Accessibility setting in the PPPC once all users are upgraded to MacOS 27 and the Blueprint is successfully pushed to all devices?

    Hi, so we are leaving existing profiles in place and once the upgrade has occurred and the device has checked in, the profiles switch then. 

    So 1 blueprint switches to a different blue print for macOS 27 specifically.

      In my testing so far…
      OSX 27, if you push a PPPC profile to it with Accessability set, you will get a notification pop out to tell you about Device Controll and Data Access being set. 

      So far I am building a Blueprint to push the Accessability setting only, once I am happy that is working I will look at the other settings available. I think Jamf Pro 11.33 has more settings available.
      I only have test machines on OSX 27 so far, not out there in the Labs as yet.

      I have found in the Jamf Apps section where I am pushing out the Wacom drivers as a Jamf App, and I have the check for Install supporting configuration profiles set, I am getting the Accessability notifications pop out for all of the Wacom drivers. Took me a while to find that one.
