I’ve had people complain about not being able to get admin rights. It turns out they’ve hidden the Self Service plus app which Tahoe allows.
It’s a stupid thing but is it even possible to prevent folks from removing certain apps from the menu bar. And if it’s possible, how do I do it?
I was dragged over the coals for this. As far as I could find, there is not method for locking the menu bar. There is a free app called Hidden Bar. It takes a bit of coaching but allows users to set the position of critical items.

Bartender is another option but is a paid app.
