Hello everyone,
I’ve added many ATV to our School Manager with latest Apple Configurator 2 without any problem. But now I’ve run in to two problems. When click prepare it takes some seconds and then I get the error as bellow.

It’s a ATV 4 HD with USB-C. USB-C is connected to my computer and the computer and ATV is on the same network and the devices is updated to latest tvOS and reset. I’ve tried some times to set it in recovery mode but it just wont work. Does anyone have any idea what to do?

So just to confirm the Apple TV has an active, accessible internet connection. I assume it’s plugged into ethernet or you have a profile with a simple wpa2 or open network added to this blueprint? MCCloudConfigErrorDomain is typically either lack of connectivity or a certificate issue based on past experiences.

Polled from another site on these steps - but they also said to make sure the time is right on the devices in use?

Do the following:

  1. Power on all Apple devices and connect them to your hub or MacBook.
  2. Go into Settings > General > Sharing.
  3. If Internet Sharing is already turned on, turn it off.
  4. Click on the information icon to the right of the toggle button.
  5. Turn on all toggle buttons listed under "To devices using".
  6. Click Done.
  7. Turn on Internet Sharing.

Others have said:
After the iPhone restore, you click through the first couple of pages of setup, then get to the WIFI screen and join to the Wifi , don't then do anything else on the iPhone , but immediately start the Prepare on Apple configurator.

Ethernet connected and ATV and the computer is on the same network. I started the day with three ATVs - first failed, second worked fine and then the third failed as well.
