KB Article

Looks like Big-IP VPN client is broken on 2016 MBPros (touch bar) and 10.12.5. We've been able to reproduce in our environment. Vendor doesn't have an ETA for resolution.

Wow. I was just working on this problem this AM. Same situation: MBP 2016 Touch Bar with 10.12.5.

Keep us posted!

This issue is affecting our MacBook Pro Touch ID model laptop users on 10.12.5 as well.

F5's workaround K05520115 in the KB is server side, yea, suuureeee...just turn on split tunneling. #famousLastWords

Hopefully they'll just release a patch to put an end to this.

F5 just released HF4 to fix the 10.12.5/TouchID compatibility issue.

Hot Fix matrix

Of course your F5 team will have to spit out a configured PKG and config file but this is great news. :D

FYI feedback submitted for F5 to update their article.

Thanks for the update, Don. I emailed the team to get the package.

Hey Don, I just heard back from the VPN folks. Little confused. Did the update/package fix this issue, or was it just a workaround? If so, which version/release did you click on and use?

They seem to think that there's only a workaround ATM with the config file, which breaks our security protocol.

Thank you. I'll send them that screenshot; I think they are clicking on the wrong link. Just to be sure, was it Release 13.0.0. Hotfix-BIGIP-13.0.0.2.0.1671-HF2 that was used?
