Hello, I’m trying to push the new software update on some iPads using Jamf. I push the command remotely but it only works on some iPads. Are the ones that are not being pushed unsupervised? Is there a way to make them supervised?
+12iPads have several defined parameters that must be met for an update to install:
- connected to Wifi to receive the MDM command and download update
- if the device has a passcode enabled, MDM cannot force install the update, the user must acknowledge and accept the update
- storage space on the device must be sufficient to install update
- battery must be greater than 50% or connected to power to install update
