I am trying to update the mac mini fleet via remote (mac screen sharing app). After the monetary update, I can see the login screen, but I am not able to type the username or password but mouse is working OK only the keyboard input is having a problem. Remote management from MDM enabled. I also tried the kickstart command via a script; the same behavior for most of the mac minis.

Do you use a third party app for the login, such as noMAD? if so, you will need to disable and re-enable it to fix this issue, Thats how we overcame this issue when it affected our fleet.
It's a shot in the dark, but have you tried a PPPC profile on these? Specifically one that allows input monitoring.
