In WWDC Apple announced the ability to set a minimum OS version during the ADE process. This was in their "What's new in managing Apple devices" presentation Now I know Apple Configurator was specifically mention, but are we able to utilize this feature set?

Anyone heard anything more about this feature? If it's in Jamf Pro 11 I'm not seeing it. Have been unable to find any further info on this feature.

I don't think it's in yet. I've been going through our instance with a fine tooth comb and haven't found it.

Still no news on this one? Noticed Kandji had this feature available back in October: https://www.kandji.io/updates/announcements/required-minimum-os-for-automated-device-enrollment

Open feature request for this. If you're missing this feature like I am, please give it a vote: https://ideas.jamf.com/ideas/JN-I-27579

This was added at some point so I'm turning it on and Latest Minor seems to be the safest option.

At the time of writing 14.7.1 and 15.1 are the latest versions.

No enforcementUsers are not prompted to install an update during enrollment. This is the default setting in Jamf

BAU don't use the feature

Latest version based on computer eligibilityUsers are prompted to install the latest macOS version based on the computer's eligibility

Regardless of version 15.1 is installed on the Mac

Latest major versionUsers are prompted to install the latest major macOS version.

A Mac on 14.5 would be upgraded to 15.1

A Mac on 15.0.1 would not be updated

Latest minor versionUsers are prompted to install the latest minor macOS version.

A Mac on 14.5 would be updated to 14.7.1.

A Mac on 15.0.1 would be updated to 15.1

Specific versionUsers are prompted to install the macOS version specified in the Minimum macOS version to enforce pop-up menu. If the version selected is no longer listed as available from Apple at time of enrollment, enforcement will be skipped.

if set to 15.1 then this would behave like Latest Eligible unless 14 < macOS < 15.1
