Does anyone know if there is a way to prevent users from doing a Force Restart (or Hard Reset) on their iPad Devices using restrictions in Jamf Pro?

 

We currently have some students in our district that are using the Force Restart as a method of bypassing an App-Lock when using the NWEA Secure Testing App.

 

As I've said, I believe the answer to this is "no" since the Force Restart is a firmware level troubleshooting tool by Apple, but just wanted to check. :)

Nope, there is no way to prevent a user from power failing a device. If I am not mistaken clicking the power button generates an IRQ command, and those take priority over everything.
