I understand that it’s expected behavior, but when using the “Preserved Apps” option with the Return To Service feature, OS updates can’t be installed.
Has anyone found a way to work around this limitation?

+24With or without preserved apps, using RtS will not force the minimum OS requirements you have set at all (by design).
Apply updates to a running device using DDU (e.g.: Blueprints) and use RtS whenever you need to.
That’s the best flow to use. Working around a problem usually will cause more issues - especially if that’s not how the product was designed.
