Going over Jamf nation posts the past few weeks, and it seems like there is an uptick in posts and comments that look very much to be made by chat bots. I have also seen more people marking their own comments as solutions to their own posts and such. Has anyone else noticed this trend or is it just me?

@AJPinto Yep, I've been seeing that as well, also a bunch of posts written in other language

I saw two from this weekend in Hindi selling a managed service and telling you to contact them with issues for whatever it was they were talking about. Google translate and my interest only got me so far lol.

I have marked a post of my own as a solution when I have figured out the solution on my own. I don't do this to earn any points and move up the ladder of contributors. I do it to show others who may have the same issue what the solution was. I have seen the posts that appear to be soliciting business. Those should be removed.

Yeah I agree. Just as you said, I think marking your own post because of you finding a solution on your own is fine! And helpful actually!

I haven't seen noticed any chatbots lately, but I'm sure that you guys are right to suspect that! Outside of sending an email through the proper channels, I suppose the best thing that can be done is to "report inappropriate content" or something on the particular posts or comments.
