Here are the direct Apple CDN download links for the Safari 16.5 update released today (2023-05-18) for macOS Monterey and Big Sur:

Monterey: https://swcdn.apple.com/content/downloads/46/42/032-63972-A_STXDTZU8QO/q8fdl64hobp69ahribtrieag6r3086hvy6/Safari16.5MontereyAuto.pkg

Big Sur: http://swcdn.apple.com/content/downloads/27/11/032-63973-A_V5EERCMLQS/8uk80mv3nd7zt40dw3k8ok1vrynvytj2s0/Safari16.5BigSurAuto.pkg

The Safari 16.5 update for macOS Ventura is part of the macOS Ventura 13.4 update.

Note that I have not personally tested these installers as macOS Ventura is now the minimum support version of macOS for my org.

For some reason I can't edit the original post, but I wanted to add that macOS Monterey 12.5 or later is required for the Monterey version of the Safari 16.5 installer (Thanks to @Michael11 on MacAmin Slack for doing the research on that)

I'd like to get SUPER all up and working and enforce Software Updates as well as Safari Updates.

Until that happens, can I make a Smart Group with Patch Reporting: Apple Safari less than: Latest Version and Computer Group member of Monterey or Big Sur, and then a single Jamf Policy targeting that smart group that runs a /usr/sbin/softwareupdate --install --safari-only --force

And would I still need to exclude computers that are 12.0 - 12.4?
