Hello,
we are currently experiencing issues with our Apple TVs and tvOS 18: connecting to the Apple TV for screen mirroring is not working properly, teachers have to repeat the process multiple times for it to work. We want to be sure that the problem is coming from tvOS 18 and not from our network. Is anyone also encountering this problem?

Most of them are 4 years old, some are 1 or 2 years old. They are connecter over ethernet.


We have been working with our Apple rep.  It is an issue on Apple's side. I suggest opening a ticket with Apple as they are actively investigating it - we have 825 out of our 1400 ATV's updated...

 


I just got notified in my open ticket that they identified the core problem and have made changes to address the issue. They are asking to test beta 5 18.1 to see if it is resolved.  If you want to test for yourself.....


The problem is solved by tvOs 18.1
