When we did our migration to Jamf Pro for our mobile devices, the migration didn’t bring over the user information for the device. I think it was a limitation of the Jamf Migration app, since newly setup devices have the correct info. I still have a few hundred mobile devices without any user information or incorrect information. We do require users register the devices with Entra ID, so the info is there.
We did try using inventory preload, but it didn’t work the way we needed it. I did try pulling the info from Entra and cleaning it up, but that took a really long time and processing it as inventory preload failed.
Does anyone have an app or script that can accomplish what I need?
